Quality Training Program Workshop
To date, the QTP has held one-day workshops outside the U.S. in collaboration with:
- Asociația Medisprof in Cluj, Romania
- Clinica AMO in Salvador, Brazil
- Contemporary Oncology in Athens, Greece
- Fundación para la Excelencia y la Calidad de la Oncología (ECO) in Madrid, Spain
- Grupo Oncoclínicas in Salvador, Brazil
- Sociedad Mexicana de Oncologia (SMEO) in Merida, Mexico

A former participant, pharmacist Alexandra Paval, from Medisprof Cancer Center in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, who completed a previous QTP workshop stated that, “In my opinion, this kind of QTP program should be done by every member of the oncology team, because it helps you better evaluate your services quality and also offers tools for this evaluation. Moreover, it helps identifying areas or domains where you can improve by implementing necessary changes in order to have better performances. It is important to analyze causes of the encountered problems, to have objectives, and, most important, collect data with which you can improve processes within the multidisciplinary team.“
