Breast
Cancer

The number one cause of cancer în romanian women, out of which nearly 60% of them are only diagnosed in advanced stages.

Central Nervous Tumors

Ranked 14 in the top of new cases for 2018 in Romania, Central Nervous Tumors have represented a total of 1.869 new patients.

Gastrointestinal Malignancies

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the most common type of gastrointestinal cancers, being the third most common of all organ cancers, after lung and breast. In Romania, 13.3% of all new cases in 2018 have been CRC, ranking it second, after lung cancer (13.6%).

Genitourinary Tumors

In Romania, almost 12.500 of new cases have consisted of genitourinary tumors, the most widespread being prostate and bladder cancers. Combined, genitourinary tumors have been one of the most common causes of cancer în 2018.

Thoracic tumors

Lung cancer is the most common single cause of cancer in romanian patients of both sexes. Over 11.300 new cases in 2018 alone, with a mortality rate of 26,3%.

For years now, our Best of ASCO annual Conference has been directly accredited by EACCME®.

This year, Medisprof Association Best of ASCO Conference, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 15 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
